Anchored on the institutio's Vision-Mission-Goals (VMG), the OSA supports students' academic journey through well-managed co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, leadership development initiatives, and services that enhance student life on campus.
Mandate and Purpose
The Office is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating programs and activities that shape the overall student experience. It serves as a bridge between students, organizations, faculty advisers, program heads, and administration—ensuring alignment with institutional policies while fostering active participation, leadership, and responsible citizenship among students.

The Office of Student Affairs is committed to nurturing a campus environment where students can learn, lead, and thrive. Through proactive programs, strong organizational support, and collaborative leadership, the OSA ensures that every student of St. Alexius College has meaningful opportunities to grow academically, socially, and personally.
Key Functions of the Office of Student Affairs
Support for Student Organizations and SSC
Assists the Student Supreme Council (SSC) and accredited organizations in preparing calendars of activities, conducting student elections, and organizing campus programs. Supervises fundraising activities, ensures proper use of student funds, and facilitates timely submission of financial reports.
Policy and Program Implementation
Oversees and enforces College policies related to student activities and development. Aligns student affairs programs with institutional priorities and the SAC-VMG.
Activity and Organization Accreditation
Implements accreditation procedures for student clubs and organizations. Conducts annual evaluation of all student activities and recommends ways to improve their implementation. Evaluates the performance of faculty advisers and club moderators.
Student Handbook Administration
Oversees the preparation, revision, and publication of the Student Handbook in consultation with Deans, Program Heads, and student representatives to ensure updated and relevant guidelines.
Leadership and Student Development
Designs and implements leadership training programs for officers and members of student clubs and organizations. Promotes holistic development through values-based and competence-driven activities.
Internal and External Engagements
Coordinates co-curricular and extra-curricular activities inside and outside the campus to provide students with well-rounded experiences. Recommends participants and delegates for external seminars, competitions, and training programs.
Sports, Athletics, and Socio-Cultural Programs
Oversees sports, athletics, and socio-cultural events in coordination with coaches, the SSC, and the College Faculty Club. Plans and manages sports programs for students, faculty, and staff.
Formation and Intellectual Engagement Activities
3rganizes convocations, symposia, debates, panel discussions, and other platforms for discourse on relevant social, academic, and national issues. Works closely with Program Heads to enrich students' awareness and critical thinking.
Reporting and Institutional Coordination
Submits semestral and annual reports to the Executive Vice-President. Performs other related functions as requested by the Executive Vice-President to support institutional goals.
