The clinic team is trained to respond swiftly to emergencies following the established ABCs of First Aid—Airway, Breathing, Circulation.

  • Airway: Ensuring the airway is clear for unconscious or unresponsive individuals.
  • Breathing: Providing rescue breathing as necessary.
  • Circulation: Performing chest compressions or CPR to maintain blood flow.
  • A simplified approach—Awake? Breathing? Continue Care—guides initial rapid assessment and action during emergencies.

    Management of Common Injuries

    Bleeding and Wound Care

    Bleeding incidents, regardless of severity, are treated seriously. Standard steps include:

  • Covering wounds with cloth or gauze
  • Applying firm pressure
  • Adding layers of dressing as needed to maintain pressure
  • Bringing the patient to a healthcare facility for evaluation after stabilization
  • Burn Treatment

    For burn emergencies, the clinic provides care by:

  • Removing the source of heat and cooling the area with running water
  • Applying light gauze without using ice or oily substances
  • Advising against bursting blisters
  • Recommending pain relievers only after medical consultation
  • Fracture Stabilization

    Any suspected fracture is immobilized until medical professionals can assess it. The clinic applies:

  • Splints or improvised stabilizers
  • Cold packs (without direct ice contact)
  • Immobilization of joints surrounding the injury
  • Pain relief advice after consultation with a doctor
