Integrated School Department Scholarship Grants

Academic Scholarship for Incoming Grade 11

This is for incoming Grade 11 Learners who belong to the top rank of their class or have received academic honors in their respective schools.

Requirements
  • Certificate of Honors
  • Form 138 (Card)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character (Guidance Office)
  • Barangay Certificate of Good Behavior

    Grade 11 Academic Scholarship
    Benefits and Privileges
  • Hundred percent (100%) free tuition and miscellaneous fees.
  • Fifty percent (50%) discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees for one semester for Learners with an average of ninety - five to ninety-seven percent (95-97%); with no grade lower than ninety percent (90%) in any subject in the preceding semester. They must be enrolled in at least seven (7) academic subjects.
  • Twenty-five (25%) discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees for one semester for Learners with an average of ninety to ninety-four percent (90 - 94%); with no grade lower than eighty-five percent (85%) in any subject in the preceding semester. They must be enrolled in at least seven (7) academic subjects.
  • Note: Learners must sustain the grades required every semester to stay as academic scholars. If the Learner fails to meet the required grades, his/her scholarship will be forfeited.

    Academic Scholarship for Grade 12

    This is for incoming Grade 12 Learners who have received any Academic Excellence Award or academic honors in their respective schools.

  • 10% discount on tuition fees from the previous school year for the Learners with an average of 87% and above and with no grade lower than 85% in any subject.
  • 100% discount on tuition fees from the previous school year for the Learners with an average of 95% and above with no grade lower than 90% in any subject.
  • Athletic/Sports Scholarship

    An Athletic/Sports Scholarship is awarded to outstanding athletes upon the endorsement and recommendation of the Office of the Student Affairs and the approval of the College Scholarship and Grants Committee. Aside from being financially challenged, applicants must have outstanding athletic ability and must be a recipient of awards in their specific sport.

    An Athletic/Sports Scholarship is awarded to outstanding athletes upon the endorsement, recommendation, and approval of the Office of Student Affairs.

    Grounds for Disqualification of the Scholarship

    The following are grounds for disqualification from the scholarship if:

  • Failing grades/academic probation in any subject
  • Record of any disciplinary incidents committed during the year stay.
  • Disciplinary sanction has been taken against any rules stated
  • Poor attitude towards training and studies
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct
  • Failure to exemplify Alexian Values
  • Note: Parents shall be called for a conference to inform them about non-inclusion in the Sports Scholarship Program.

    College Scholarship Grants

    Academic Scholarship

    Hundred percent (100%) free tuition fee for one semester with an average of ninety-four to one hundred percent (94–100%); with no grade less than ninety percent (90%) in any subject in the preceding semester except NSTP, provided they are enrolled in six (6) academic subjects.

    Fifty percent (50%) discount on tuition fees for one semester for students with an average of ninety-two to ninety-four percent (92–94%); with no grade lower than ninety percent (90%) in any subject in the preceding semester except NSTP. They must be enrolled in at least six (6) academic subjects.

    Founders’ Scholarship

    A scholarship program provided by St. Alexius College which aims to provide the opportunity for academically outstanding students to pursue their college education. This program is testament to St. Alexius College‘s commitment and dedication to academic excellence and outstanding scholastic performance.

    Requirements
  • The applicant must submit a Certification from the Principal or Guidance Counselor that the applicant belongs to the top 10% of the graduating batch and a Certificate of Good Moral Character.
  • Income Tax Return of Parents
  • Must take and pass the examinations and the panel interview.
  • Benefits and Privileges
  • Free tuition and miscellaneous fees.
  • Free school uniform (one set)
  • Free books (actual books used during the studies) however, the following are to be observed:
  • 1. RLE Fee - 50% shouldered by the student

    2. Review fee and board examination fee is shouldered by the student

    Entrance Merit Scholarship

  • Must be an Honor student during Senior high School (Incoming Freshmen)
  • Upon Enrolment, pass a certificate/ award with name indicated and level of award given to the Guidance office
  • Percentage given depending on the awards attain by the students

    Basic Criteria

    Students who wish to apply for this scholarship must:

  • Be a bona fide student of St. Alexius College enrolled in non- health related courses;
  • Be a player of good standing and practicing the spirit of sportsmanship by heart;
  • Physically fit with sound mind to overcome rigors of training and academic pressure;
  • No disciplinary sanction or reports of untoward behavior in school and in the community; and
  • Have a year-end average of not lower than 75% with no failing marks in any semester.

  • Allowance allotted for Regional and National Competitions.
  • Incentives given to Athletes who win Championship Awards in a national level competition.
  • Note: Opportunity to join invitational tournaments as approved by (Executive Vice-President SUGGEST SAC ADMIN) and DSA (Suggest SPORTS COORDINATOR).

    All government-mandated scholarships are fully implemented by the College. The college also honors all kinds of scholarships offered by the government to qualified students. The students is advised to refer either to the CHED Regional Office or the Guidance center for full details of the scholarships.

  • UNIFAST

    The Unified Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education Act, or UniFAST — also known as Republic Act No. 10687 — was signed into law last October 15, 2018. UniFAST reconciles, improves, strengthens, expands, and puts under one body all government-funded modalities of Student Financial Assistance Programs (StuFAPs) for Tertiary Education.

    REQUIREMENTS
  • Officially enrolled at St. Alexius College
  • Certificate of Residency within Koronadal City (Original & Photocopy)
  • Certificate of Enrollment and Statement of Account (c/o school)
  • DA-ACEF

    ACEF-GIAHEP aims to contribute to the development of agriculture and fisheries by increasing the number of graduates in higher education who are trained in the scientific habit of thought, entrepreneurial skills and technical competencies in the areas of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, veterinary medicine education and related agricultural education programs.

    Qualification Requirements
  • Filipino citizen
  • Graduating high school students; High school graduates; with earned units in college; or passer of Alternative Learning System / Philippine Educational Placement Test (ALS/PEPT)
  • Will enroll or currently enrolled in recognized programs in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, veterinary medicine education and related agricultural education programs offered by duly authorized Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)
  • Combined annual gross income of parents/guardians not to exceed Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (PHP300,000.00); In exceptional cases, where income exceeds PHP300,000.00, the ACEF ExeCom shall determine the merits of the application

  • Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents/guardians if employed
  • Certificate of Tax Exemption from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
  • Certificate of No Income from BIR

  • Certificate/Case Study from Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)
  • For children of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and seafarers, a latest copy of contract or proof of income may be considered.

  • Priority Applicants but not limited to the following:
  • Those residing in GIDA or from the Indigenous Communities
  • Those belonging to ethnic groups or Indigenous Population
  • Dependents of government employees, Barangay Health Workers and Traditional Birth Attendants
  • Victims of calamities
  • Dependents of police or soldiers wounded while on duty
