St. Alexius College is in the forefront of supporting the National Health Research Agenda as it continues to strive to do better in its research programs. Today’s event is SAC’s expression of this commitment!

The 4th Mindanao Research Convention themed “Onward for Research is for everyone (RIFE)”: Research Further, Faster, Together”, led today by Sir John Thomas Franco, Vice-President of SAC and Executive Director of Mindanao Research Convention (MRC), and Sir Ernie Bonzo, Overall Chairperson of MRC, has gathered more than a thousand attendees from different private and private academic institutions from all over Mindanao.

SAC continues to be active in health research because it believes, as President Nanette Franco puts it, that “the need for innovative, balanced, and all-inclusive approach to health care has become a matter of urgency for health systems even from the standpoint of Higher Education Institutions and other health facilities…and that public-private partnerships play an important roles in addressing community health issues.”

Today’s event was graced by Dr. Jaime Galvez Tan, former Department of Health Secretary and current Director of the College of Medicine, University of the Philippines – Manila.
