June, 2010 BS Radiologic Technology Graduates/1st batch 2010, figured prominently in the BSRT Licensure Examination. SAC garnered a passing percentage of 82% where it ranked No. 2 in Mindanao Region and No. 4 in the National Level. Alex Garalde placed No. 15 and Paul Junsay placed No. 16.

SAC seals partnership with Australia Education for Further Education (ACFE) in Melbourne, Australia for a “Gap Program” to provide training to Filipino and other foreign nurses wanting to gain qualification in Australia.

SAC entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Philippine Women’s University (PWU), Manila, an Autonomous HEI, for a graduate extension programs in MS Health Systems Management, MS Medical Technology, MS Clinical Nutrition and Master of Arts in Nursing.

March, 2011 First Alexian Awards was held in recognition to students who excelled in academics, socio-cultural and sports competition.
April-May, 2011 SAC conducted series of training courses in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Special Education (SPED) for professionals through lecture-demonstration and experiential learning with credit units.
June, 2011 BSRT graduates batch 2011, garnered 100% passing percentage in the BSRT Licensure Examination which catapulted SAC to its stature as one of the TOP performing School in Mindanao (Rank 1) and in the National level (Rank 2).

CHED granted permit to operate BS Medical Technology, BS Pharmacy and BS Information Technology.

3-storey APP building was completed and inaugurated, housing additional college classrooms and laboratories, administrative and academic offices, Basic Education classrooms and facilities and Activity Center.

Physical facilities and laboratories in Basic Sciences, MedTech, Pharmacy, RadTech, HRM and Information Technology/Computer were upgraded.

SAC started to offer Sports Scholarship grants to students who have satisfied the grant requirements. There are more than 60 sports scholars in the basketball, soccer, volleyball, table tennis, track and field and baseball who enjoy 25% to 100% scholarship privileges.

February21, 2012 The Alexian community lost one of its most revered founders, Dr. Amparo Yusay Pingoy who passed away on Feb. 21, 2012.

May, 2012 SAC subscribed to Britannica On-line consisting of electronic access to 7 major databases. SAC is one of the 30 institutions throughout the country, one of the 3 institutions in Mindanao and one of 2 institutions in Region XII who have access to Britannica On-line subscription.

June, 2012 Opened the AVT and AMT Courses under CAAP/ICAD in partnership with Asian College of Electronics and ACATECH.

BSN, batch 2012, garnered 75% (27 out of 36) examinees) against the National Passing Rate of 45.69% in the June, 2012, Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE).

SAC entered into a MOA with ComTech Resource Development Program to implement Special Science Computer Education Development Program which aim to train High School students at South Cotabato in Computer Fundamentals and applications, including trouble shooting.

Casa Amparo, the BSHRM/BSTM/BEED Laboratory, was renovated and upgraded. It will also be used by TESDA for courses in Commercial Cooking, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Front Office Operations, Massage Therapy, Baking and Pastry Production.

Sept 23, 2012 SAC lost its most loved President, Dr. Arturo P. Pingoy, Sr. a man for others and a great source of inspiration.
October, 2012 SAC-Grade School was recognized by DepEd ROXII, Koronadal City, and adjudged as the CHILD FRIENDLIEST SCHOOL in the Division of Koronadal City during the research conducted, relative to the 2012 World Teacher’s Day. The recognition was awarded on October 2, 2012 by Isagani S. De le Cruz, CESO VI, School’s Division Superintendent, Koronadal City. Mark A. Geronimo, SAC Grade School Mathematics Teacher was awarded the MODEL TEACHER in the City Division besting other eachers in making Lesson Plan and the manner of delivery of topics to the students. The recognition was awarded on October 2, 2012 during the Celebration of the World Teacher’s Day.

SAC was awarded by the Department of Labor and Employment – Public Employment Service Office (DOLE-PESO) with Certificate of Recognition for its BEST PRACTICE in Career Advocacy from among the PESO-school base, a first is the Province of South Cotabato, Region XII.

SAC conducted series of Research Fora and making Research an integral part in Allied Health Courses.

November, 2012 The ACFE, Australia Officials visited St. Alexius College last Nov. 16, 2012 in line with their desire to bring ACFE programs to nurses and midwives in South Cotabato. In partnership with SAC, ACFE is a private education provider for IRON (Initial Registration for Overseas Nurses) Program based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Romer I. Libona, SAC-Director of Student Affairs was Elected PACSA National Auditor for 2012-2014 during the convention for Campus Advisers and Student Leaders held last Nov. 24-27, 2012 at Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City.

SAC-Grade School Football Club gained recognition as the Champion of the 1st Gov. “Dodo” Pingoy Kasibulan Football Tournament (Grassroot Program) which was contested by 12 participating teams from different schools in the province of South Cotabato.

February, 2013 SAC—Grade School bested 18 other schools in the Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge Division Level when they won First Place last February 8, 2013 at KCES II, Koronadal City.

In compliance with RA 7392, SAC in collaboration with Integrated Midwives Association of the Philippines Inc. (IMAP), conducted a 7-day Training Program for Midwives from Feb. 14-20, 2013 at SAC—Skills Laboratory. SAC is the only authorized training institution in Region 12 with CPE Provider # 2009-1. Mr. Jessie T. Oraño, RN, RM, MN Program Head, Midwifery, was elected as Vice President of the Association of the Philippine School in Midwifery (APSOM), Region XII Chapter.

Mr. Jerry A. Cabinan, RRT, MPA, was re-elected as President of the Philippine Association of Radiologic Technologist (PART), Region XII Chapter, last Feb. 23, 2013 during the PART XII Convention held at Cinco Niñas, Koronadal City.

March, 2016 The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) granted candidate status to SAC’s 5 programs: BS Medical Technology, BS Pharmacy, Education, Arts and Sciences, and BS Psychology, and grant them eligibility for Formal Survey after one year. The evaluation by a team of accreditors was conducted last March 7-8, 2016.
SAC Medical Technology graduates sweep MT Licensure Examination held last March 9-10, 2016. All 12 first takers and 3 repeaters passed the MTLE giving SAC an over-all performance of 100% with the National Passing of 78.81%, thus earning a tittle of No. 1 Medical Technology School in South Central Mindanao and the No. 1 Medical Technology School with less than 20 takers in the Philippines. Out of 2596 examinees nationwide, 2046 passed.
SAC’s 51st Commencement Exercises was held in March 19, 2016 at the South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato. 186 graduates received their diplomas and awards, with Dr. Nini F. Lim, Dean, School of Medical Technology, Philippine Women’s University, Manila as commencement speaker.
SAC – Integrated School Department held its 2nd Graduation Ceremony and Moving-up Day at EMR, City of Koronadal, on March 31, 2016 with City School Division Superintendent, Mr. Leonardo M. Balala as guest speaker.
SAC NSTP Graduation was held on March 22, 2016, with John Thomas C. Franco, RN, MAN, PhD(c), SAC- Executive Vice-President as guest speaker.
May, 2016 SAC – Medical Technology Department held their 5th Pinning Ceremony at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, City of Koronadal, on May 6, 2016. 80 students wore their white gala uniform and pins with Dean Bernard U. Ebuen, RMT, MSMT, MAEd, and both President of the Asean Association of Schools of Medical Technology and Philippine Association of Schools of Medical Technology and Public Health. Inc. (PASMETH).
SAC 45th Foundation Day was celebrated on May 12, 2016 with a mass, followed by the blessing of Casa Amparo and the ground breaking of the new buildings. The festive atmosphere was brought about by the parlor games and a sumptuous lunch served for all Alexians. 9 Alexians who served SAC for 10, 15, and 25 years were given plaque and cash gifts.
SAC- Director of Student Affairs, Romer I. Libona was elected Vice-President for Mindanao of the Philippine Association of Campus Students Advisers (PACSA).
June, 2016 BS Nursing graduates garnered 92.30% in the June, 2016 Nursing Licensure Examination. The national passing rate is 43.60%.
SAC – BS Pharmacy Dept. held their 5th Pinning and White Coat Ceremony at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, City of Koronadal with Sheldon Jay Silva, RPh, MSPh as their resource speaker.
July, 2016 17 BSRT graduates hurdled the July, 2016 Licensure Examination for Radiologic Technologists.
SAC-BSHRM students were the 1st Runner-up overall winners during the T’nalak Skills Competition held last July 11-12, 2016.
Jessie T. Oraño, RN, RM, MAN was elected as APSOM National Board of Directors and PRO.
During the 4th PACSA Mindanao Midyear Congress held at Eden Nature Park, Davao City last July 29-31, 2016, Alexians harvest Research Awards. Kesha Collen Pusin, BS nursing student awarded as 1st Placer for Best Paper Presenter category with her study entitled: Lived Experiences of Abused Men: A Case Study; Deborah B. Parcon, BS Psychology student awarded as Second Placer for Best Paper Presenter Category and Second Placer for Best Paper Category with her study entitled: Mass Media Using Plus-size Models on the Body Image, Self-Assessment and Academic Performance of overweight Males, Baihannah Pangalao, BS Medical Technology student awarded as Third Placer for Project Presentation.
August, 2016 4 BS Pharmacy graduates hurdled the Pharmacy Licensure Examination.
2 BS Psychology graduates passed the Psychometrician Board Examination.
26th Capping/Pinning & Candlelighting Ceremony of BS Nursing and 10th Pinning & Candlelighting Ceremony of Diploma in Midwifery held at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill last August 8, 2016. Ms. Jennifer O. Detorio, RN, RPT, PTRP, MAN, Clinical Coordinator, University of Buraimi, College of Health & Science, AL-Buraimi, Oman, was the guest speaker.
September, 2016 SAC – BEED graduates garnered 86.67% during the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) against the National passing rate of 30.18%.
13 new Medical Technologists made it to the August, 2016 Licensure examination.
October, 2016 October 5, 2016, SAC celebrated World Teacher’s Day with Dr. Maximo C. Aljibe, CESO IV, Regional Director, CHED XII, as the guest speaker.

In the evening, a tribute to teachers was held at the Farm @ Carpenter Hill, City of Koronadal.

November, 2016 Mr. Romer I. Libona, SAC – Director of Student Affairs was elected as National President during the last National PACSA Convention held at Crown Legacy Hotel, Baguio City.
